ENGAGING hard to reach young people and helping them move towards independence is the overriding goal for a new vocational training initiative in Tunbridge Wells. One is 14-year-old Ryan Derrick from Showfields, who attends twice a week around school. "When I first came here I was really shy and I didn`t know anybody but now I am getting on with most of the group and really enjoying it."

GOOD NEWS! 
The Kent People`s Trust are helping fund John - our Key Skills/Basic Skills Tutor who works in all 3 HORIZON Projects to help trainees improve functional literacy and numeracy with excellent results! Other training includes IT, health & safety, fitness & PSD - personal & social development...
